Our optometrists, Charles and Sophie, bring extensive clinical experience and a genuine passion for patient care. Charles graduated from the University of Melbourne, while Sophie trained at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. Every eye examination is conducted by your optometrist from start to finish, ensuring continuity of care and allowing you to benefit directly from their expertise throughout your appointment.
The average eye test can often feel rushed, leaving little opportunity to discuss your visual needs or ask questions. At Optomed Optometrists, we take a different approach.
During your appointment, we take the time to understand how you use your eyes at work, at home, and during leisure activities. This additional time also allows us to explain our findings clearly, discuss any eye health concerns, and ensure you leave with a complete understanding of your vision and eye care options.
We invest in the latest diagnostic technology to provide a comprehensive assessment of your eye health. Our advanced equipment helps us detect subtle changes within the eye and identify signs of eye disease at the earliest possible stage.
For patients who would benefit from a more detailed evaluation, we also offer OCT retinal scanning, providing highly detailed images of the retina and optic nerve to support early detection and ongoing monitoring of many eye conditions.
Should we identify any concerns that require further investigation, we work closely with leading ophthalmologists throughout Adelaide to ensure you receive prompt access to specialist care when needed.
